Q. Do I have to pay for the limousine even if im not in it ?
A. Yes, as the vehicle is reserved for you and your party. It is like trying to rent out your hotel room when your not in it.
Q. Are all limousine companies the same?
A. No this is where you you want to your homework. Make sure the company has commercial insurance for their vehicles and ask to see a copy of the declaration page. Also make sure they are registered with the state.
Q. Is the limousine driver required to have a special drivers lincense?
A. The state of Florida does not require a chauffeur's license to operate a sedan or standard limousine, however it is a federal law that when operating a vehicle that is transporting 15 people or more you must have the minimum Class C CDL with A Passenger Endorsement.
( This is very important , as if your limousine is pulled over it will be towed if the driver is not in compliance.
Q. If we rent the limousine for a prom or birthday party can the driver go back and pick up my parents and also bring them out?
A. Unfortunately not as this would be unfair to the other guests that also rented the vehicle, should they need the vehicle during that time. The vehicle will stay in the area of the party the whole time.
Q. Do I have to pay extra if my reservation goes over the time I paid for ?
A. Yes overtime is based in 1/2 hr increments and will be charged the contracted hourly amount plus 20% service fee.
Q. Is drinking allowed in the limousine?
A. Yes as long as every person is over the age of 21, drinking is never allowed in a vehicle that does not have a divider between the driver and passengers.
Q. How much should I tip the driver?
A. a chauffeur's pay is similiar to a waitress's pay. Please tip your chauffeur well. They work hard and rely on tips. The industry standard is 20% of the total bill.
Q. Can the driver come into the party with us ?
A. No this is unacceptable, unprofessional and against company policy. While you are not in the vehicle your chauffeur will be removing all trash,vacuuming, and straightening up so when you arrive back at the vehicle it will look nice and clean just like at the beginning of the night.
Q. How much should I expect to pay to rent a limousine?
A. There is an average standard for limousine pricing, depending on the time of season, size and type of vehicle. If you receive a quote that sounds to good to be true, it probably is.
Q. Can we smoke and eat in the limousine?
A. No most reputable companies do not allow smoking or eating in any of their vehicles. This policy helps maintain a beautiful, clean limousine for your day or evening out.
